How to Play

Toilet Verse Tower Defense is a wave tower defense on Roblox. You sit in a lobby of up to 50 players, step on a map platform, and place toilets that shoot cameramen. The sides are the reverse of Toilet Tower Defense. If you came from TTD expecting to place Cameraman units, you are in the wrong experience.

The match loop never changes. Join a platform, place, upgrade, skip leftover wave time, survive the last enemy, collect coins and XP, then roll a crate. Getting Started is the first-hour wrapper around this loop. This page is the loop itself — what to tap, what to upgrade first, and what to stop doing when lives start leaking.

Join a platform

In the lobby, walk onto the pad for the map and difficulty you want. City Easy is the tutorial lane. Medium and Hard use the same map with longer waves and fatter cameramen. Boss Mode, Endless, and raids are separate platforms with their own rules — see Boss Mode and Endless Mode once City Hard is no longer a scramble. Raids are survival pads with floor loot, not a third City difficulty.

You bring five equipped units. Swap them in the lobby, not mid-match. A legal first five is one economy toilet (Miner Toilet or Drill Miner), two damage toilets, one slow or stun if you own it, and one flex. The early-game tier list and the loadout planner exist so you stop guessing in the pad queue.

Place

Select a unit from the five-slot bar, then click (PC) or press R2 (console) on a legal tile. Range circles matter more than looking cool on a rooftop. Put the miner off the main choke so later splash toilets can sit on the bend. You have a placement cap around 15 — every extra body is a slot you cannot spend on an upgrade.

Do not place all five names on wave 1. Place the miner, place one DPS, then wait for cash. Cameramen on Easy City die to a single upgraded lane; they do not die faster because you panic-placed eight level-1 toilets.

If the ghost preview is red, you are on a blocked tile or over the cap. Cancel with right-click instincts on PC or B / O on console — full bindings are on controls. Selling a misplace is cheaper than leaving a Titan staring at a wall.

Upgrade

Inspect a placed toilet (second click, or R2) and spend match cash on the upgrade button. Upgrade the miner first. Income compounds; a level-1 DPS farm does not. After the miner is online, upgrade the toilet that actually hits the lane, not the one with the shiniest Exclusive tag.

Sell is on the same inspect panel. Sell copies that are eating the cap when a single higher-level unit would cover the same angle. Do not sell the last miner unless a better economy toilet is in your hand and you can replace it the same wave.

Gems, spins, and XP potions are lobby currencies. They do not upgrade a toilet mid-match. Match cash is the only upgrade fuel. Coin codes from the codes hub help the next lobby; they do not drop into an active wave.

Skip waves

When the last cameraman on a wave is dead, skip the leftover timer. Auto skip is a HUD toggle — turn it on once the lane is stable so you are not tapping Skip 40 times on a Medium clear. Turn it off if you need the pause to place or to move a miner.

Skipping does not reduce rewards. Standing around watching an empty path does. On Endless, auto skip is how you reach the scaling waves before you fall asleep; on Boss Mode Hard (50 waves) it is how you keep miner ticks coming. Neither mode is the place to learn skip discipline — learn it on City.

Win, rewards, crate

If the base survives the last wave, you win. Coins, unit XP, and a crate chance land after the results screen. Easy maps pay less and finish faster, which is why City Easy is still the right farm while you wait out the 20-minute code lock. Hard maps pay more and drop the Hard badge for that lane; they also punish a missing miner.

Open crates in the lobby. Exclusives such as UFO, Scientist, Glitch, Rocket, Toxic School, Flying Bus, DJ, and Beta Toilet live on the exclusive units page. Godly, Shiny, and Mega tags are rarity wrappers, not a new tutorial. If the crate is a parasite you already own, keep the duplicate or trade it; if it is a name you cannot place yet, park it and keep the miner in the five slots.

Parasite is not the crate. Infecting a boss after you kill it is a separate roll — how to parasite — and the unit appears in inventory only if the roll hits. A broken parasite is still a win. Take the coins and queue again.

Common loop mistakes that leak lives

Most losses in this game are loop errors, not missing Godly units. The first error is skipping the miner. Players who fill five slots with Exclusive names still go broke on wave 8 because nothing is printing cash. If the inspect panel shows you cannot afford the next upgrade, you placed too many bodies. Sell down to the cap you can actually fund.

The second error is placing on wave 1 like the map is Endless. City Easy and Toilet Lab Easy do not need a full 15-placement wall before cameramen exist. Place two toilets, skip, upgrade, then expand. The third error is leaving auto skip off on a farm map and on during a map you do not understand. Auto skip on a new Hard lane is how you discover the boss while your cursor is in the shop.

The fourth error is treating the crate as the match. A win already paid coins and XP. Rolling gems immediately, then swapping the miner out for a shiny Exclusive, is how the next match leaks on wave 5. Compare the pull to the tier list and the best units page before it eats a slot. Trading a duplicate is fine; trading the only Drill Miner on the account is not.

The fifth error is jumping modes because the lobby pads look cooler. Boss Mode Easy is 20 waves with named bosses. Endless has no last wave. Both assume the loop on this page is automatic. If you still forget to upgrade the miner, you are not ready for Laser Cameraman or the Ultimate Titan badge. Clear City Medium, then City Hard, then read maps for the next badge. The loop does not change on Clock Tower — only the lane does.

When lives leak, stop placing. Inspect, sell the worst copy, upgrade the toilet that can see the path, and skip only after the leak is plugged. That sequence is the whole game. Everything else on this wiki — parasite, Endless scaling, exclusive crates — is this sequence with fatter cameramen.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Toilet Verse Tower Defense questions.

What is the core loop in Toilet Verse Tower Defense?

Join a map platform, place toilets, upgrade (miner first), skip leftover wave time, win, then open the crate in the lobby.

How many units can I bring into a match?

Five equipped units. Placement during the match caps around 15, so upgrades beat extra copies.

Should I auto skip every wave?

On a farm map you already understand, yes. On a new Hard lane or Boss Mode, leave it off until the miner and the first choke are built.

Do crates replace parasitizing bosses?

No. Crates roll exclusives and duplicates. Infecting a boss is a separate inventory roll — see how to parasite.

Why do I run out of cash every match?

You placed too many toilets before upgrading a miner. Sell extras, keep Miner Toilet or Drill Miner in the five slots, and read the early-game tier list.
