Trading moves units in and out of your Toilet Verse Tower Defense inventory. It is how you turn duplicates into names you need, how new accounts get their first exclusive, and how veterans move variant copies for value. It is also how scammers target players who do not know what they are looking at. This guide covers the mechanics, the value basics, and the scams that actually show up in TVTD trades.

TVTD is Place 15560168390. This is not Toilet Tower Defense. TTD has its own trade values and scam patterns. This page is TVTD only.

How trading works

TVTD has an in-game trade window. You and your trading partner each select units from your inventory, confirm the details, and complete the exchange. The trade is final when both sides confirm — there is no reversal button, no refund window, and no support ticket that recovers a scammed unit.

Trades happen in the lobby or in private servers. Public lobbies carry higher scam risk because you do not know who you are trading with. Use the in-game trade window only. Outside trade tools, Discord servers, or external websites are not covered by Roblox’s trade system and carry additional risk.

The trade window checklist

Before you confirm any trade, run through this list:

1. Read the unit name exactly. “Glitch” is not “Glitch Toilet.” “Drillman” is not “Parasited Upgraded Titan Drillman.” Scammers rename their offers to look like valuable units.
2. Check the variant word. “Shiny Upgraded Titan Drillman” is not the same as “Mega Upgraded Titan Drillman.” Both exist. The variant word changes the value.
3. Confirm exist count if visible. A unit’s exist count is displayed in the trade window. A low exist count (under 100 globally) means rare. A high exist count means common. Low exist counts command higher trade value.
4. Verify the rarity badge. Godly, Mega, and Shiny copies show their tier in the unit card. If the card says Shiny and the model looks plain, something is wrong.
5. Do not trade based on a screenshot. Screenshot trades can be faked. Always trade inside the actual game window.

Common scam patterns

Name swapping. A scammer puts a valuable unit name in the trade window but substitutes a common unit with a similar model before confirming. Always read the unit card directly, not the name tag above the slot.

Variant confusion. A scammer offers “Parasited Titan Clockman” but the actual unit is a common Clockman without the Parasited prefix. Read every word.

Outside trades. Someone asks you to complete a trade through a Discord webhook, a Google Form, or a third-party site. Roblox trades only happen inside the game. Outside systems have no connection to Roblox’s trade protection.

Alt account pressure. A new-looking account with a valuable unit offer is sometimes an alt used to run scams. Check if the account has a proper profile, friends, and game history before trading high-value items.

Value shifting. A scammer agrees to a trade, then after you confirm the first side, claims the value changed and asks for an extra unit “to even it out.” Agree on full value before either side confirms anything.

Unit value basics

Value in TVTD trading comes from three things:

1. Rarity tier — Godly and Mega copies are worth more than base versions of the same unit.
2. Exist count — Units with very low global exist counts (under 50) are trophy items. Units with high exist counts (thousands) are common.
3. Meta relevance — Units that are currently strong in the meta (Tri-Titan, Upgraded Titan Drillman, Titan Clockman) hold value longer than units that have fallen out of the meta.

The current meta tier list for value reference is on best units. A unit at the top of the gameplay tier list is usually at the top of the trade value list too.

What to trade and when

Good trades to make:

• Duplicate exclusives you do not need for a unit you are missing.
• Common variants (low-tier Shiny copies) for a unit you actually place.
• Leftover B-tier exclusives after you have the A-tier names.

Trades to avoid:

• Trading your only miner for any unit. Income is not negotiable.
• Trading a high-tier parasite for a crate exclusive you could buy with gems.
• Accepting any trade that requires you to add extra units “to even it out” after the fact.

Where to find trading partners

The Discord server linked in the game description has trade channels. Use those. Trading with people you find in public lobbies is higher risk because you have no community accountability if something goes wrong.

Before joining any external TVTD Discord, confirm the invite link matches the official server mentioned on the Roblox page. Fake servers with similar names are created regularly.

What to do if you get scammed

Roblox’s trade system does not have a recovery option for completed trades. If you believe you were scammed:

1. Use Roblox’s Report feature on the player’s profile.
2. Do not attempt to recover the trade by using an external “trade recovery” service — those are scams targeting already-scammed players.
3. Learn from the mistake: the checklist above prevents the most common patterns.

There is no in-game support ticket that reverses trades. The only protection is reading every unit card before you confirm.

Trading in Season 7 Multiverse

The August 2026 comeback did not change the trade system. Unit values from 2024 have shifted as new exclusives and parasites shipped, but the trading mechanics remain the same. Watch Discord trade channels for current market activity.

Do not assume a 2024 trade value is still accurate. The player base, the meta, and the unit pool have all shifted. Check recent trade history before valuing a high-exist-count item.
